Job Summary
Prepare patients for non-invasive diagnostic vascular procedures and perform arterial and venous leg testing, carotid artery imaging, and ultrasound recordings of blood flow and pressure. Monitor patient vital signs, assist with rooming patients, and maintain equipment while following safety protocols and HIPAA guidelines. Schedule patients for testing as needed and participate in the Quality Improvement Program. Day shift with no evenings, weekends, or holidays. Registered Vascular Technician required with a minimum of four years' experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years' experience as a Registered Vascular Technician
- Associate's degree in diagnostic medical sonography from an accredited program (CAHEP, ARDMS or CCI)
- Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) or RVS required
- Possesses the physical ability and perceptive acuity (e.g. visual, hearing) to perform all direct and indirect care functions
Desired Qualifications
- BA degree a plus
- Strong patient/customer service orientation
- Maintains a professional appearance; takes pride and ownership of work and works in a cooperative, team-oriented manner
- Effective communicator
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and to handle shifting priorities
