Job Summary
Perform a variety of hemodynamic exams to detect lower and upper extremity obstructions as directed by a physician or in response to previous test results. Maintain compliance with regulatory and legal requirements while conducting vascular ultrasound studies including carotid, aortic, renal, mesenteric vessels, and lower extremity arterial and venous imaging. Perform lower extremity arterial studies such as Ankle-Brachial and Pulse Volume Recordings, as well as Saphenous Vein ablation. Requires ARDMS or CCI certification and Basic Cardiac Life Support. Work hours are 8-5 with no weekend or on-call requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound, vascular technology or cardiovascular program
- 1 year of vascular technology experience OR 5 years of experience as a Registered Vascular Tech (RVT)
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from ARDMS or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) from CCI
- Experience with all types of vascular ultrasound studies including carotid, aortic, renal and mesenteric vessels, lower extremity arterial and venous, Venous insufficiency, upper extremity arterial and venous
- Experience with performing lower extremity arterial studies such as Ankle- Brachial and Pulse Volume Recordings
- Experience with Saphenous Vein ablation
- Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support
