Job Summary
Perform patient assessments and produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologists using independent judgment and systematic problem-solving methods. Maintain accurate patient records and execute daily quality control checks while adhering to hospital and departmental policies. Facilitate optimal patient care and foster effective teaching relationships with clinical educators. Manage workload effectively, organize priorities, and demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills. Travel between and work at multiple Osler sites as required. Must hold current CMRITO and CAMRT registration with Ontario Breast Screening Program certification.
Required Qualifications
- Must have current CMRITO and CAMRT registration
- Certified with Ontario Breast Screening Program required
- Recent experience within the last two years
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to organize work load effectively
- Demonstrated ability to foster an environment to facilitate effective teaching and learning relationships and provide effective consultation with the clinical educators
- Physical ability to perform the expected job duties
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Must demonstrate Osler's Values of Respect, Excellence, Service, Compassion, Innovation and Collaboration
- Excellent attendance, punctuality and work record
- Demonstrated ability to organize work, set objectives and establish priorities
- May be required to travel between and work at all Osler sites
- Hours: Currently Days/Evenings, 8 hour shifts including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)
Desired Qualifications
- Mammography certification an asset
- Knowledge of CAR Mammography Accreditation program an asset
