Job Summary
Act as independent functioning Survey Field Crew Chief, perform survey staking from engineering and construction drawings, and convert field data into design-deliverables using AutoCAD or MicroStation. Interpret historical survey data, deeds, and title information to establish parcel boundary lines and landnets for design and easement creation. Operate survey instrumentation and data collectors for platmaking, land and other surveys, and coordinate with engineering and construction teams. Position requires 5 years of related field experience, a two-year degree or equivalent, and travel requirements; licensure is preferred and candidates should be on a path to licensure. Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- 5 years' related experience in the survey field working under the direction of a Professional Land Surveyor
- Professional Land Surveyor Licenses preferred but not required
- FLS exam passed or scheduled
- CST Certification also preferred if not licensed
- Travel and driving will be required
