Registered Staff Nurse - Prov Cardiac Intervention Unit - Providence

Assess patients, plan individualized care, and implement nursing interventions across neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Administer medications including controlled substances and blood products, start IVs, and perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures. Provide direct patient care, activities of daily living, and patient/family education while maintaining accurate medical records and transcribing physician orders. Serve as charge nurse when assigned, directing staff activities, managing resources, and resolving patient complaints. Respond to emergency situations, manage arrest protocols, and verify emergency equipment functionality. Demonstrate CPR and BCLS skills, adhere to infection control standards, and complete mandatory unit and hospital requirements. Work the assigned schedule including overtime and call as required.
