Job Summary
Perform transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms, contrast studies, and low-dose Dobutamine stress testing for aortic stenosis. Conduct cardiac structural procedures including TAVR, MitraClip, and left atrial appendage closure while operating specialized equipment and interpreting data to identify patient needs. Assess patients for procedures before, during, and after treatment, train students and staff as assigned, and maintain a therapeutic environment for patients and families. Available Monday through Friday with rotating call and occasional weekend coverage.
Required Qualifications
- ARDMS or CCI Echocardiography registry required, or candidate must be eligible to obtain registry
- BLS required
- ARRT registry/ARDMS in one of the following areas: OB/Gyn, Abd or Neurosonography
- CPR certification required
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Graduate of approved School of Ultrasound or equivalent training
Desired Qualifications
- Experienced sonographer with hospital-based experience preferred
