Job Summary
Conduct calibration, monitoring, measurement, documentation, and treatment for all sleep study areas including PSG, PAP titration, CO2 monitoring, and oxygen administration. Score polysomnograms and generate reports summarizing sleep/wake periods, REM episodes, arousal analysis, EEG phenomena, cardiac events, respiratory events, limb movements, and other physiological events according to current AASM guidelines for adults, children, and infants. Troubleshoot HSAT problems and maintain center equipment. Assist with new employee orientation and manage supply inventory in the absence of the Manager. Work Monday to Friday from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM at Munson Healthcare's Sleep Disorders Center in Traverse City.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills
- Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella
- Munson Healthcare requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption
- Monday to Friday - 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Desired Qualifications
- Highly Preferred: BRPT/NBRC/ABRET
- Registered by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) (RPSGT)
- Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) with some sleep experience preferred
- Registered by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) with some sleep experience preferred
