Job Summary
Registered Sales Operations Specialist provides general clerical and sales support for one or more registered professional or sales teams, opens new accounts, processes orders, handles client inquiries, researches client and security information, and ensures trades are processed correctly. Responsibilities include reviewing and entering trade tickets, correcting trade breaks, responding to MSRB/TRACE inquiries, maintaining bond portfolios in proprietary systems, generating reports, ensuring client paperwork is current, preparing letters and forms for servicing and prospecting, and providing backup support to other operations staff. Requires experience in financial services, FINRA SIE and Series 7, and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office; compensation in the $70k-$90k range with a Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in the financial services industry
- Bachelor’s degree
- FINRA SIE & Series 7
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Detail orientation for accuracy of reports and data
