Job Summary
Oversee daily nursing operations, guide and inspire the nursing team, and ensure the highest standards of resident care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, and families to deliver resident-centered care while mentoring staff and fostering a supportive environment. Apply in-state Registered Nurse License in good standing, with expertise in geriatric or subacute nursing, medication administration, and knowledge of COMAR, CMS, and Office of Health Care Quality standards. Utilize electronic medical records efficiently and demonstrate proven leadership, communication skills, and coaching abilities. Work part-time every other weekend day shifts at The Village at Rockville.
Required Qualifications
- In-state Registered Nurse License in good standing
- Expertise in geriatric or subacute nursing
- Proficiency in medication and treatment administration
- In-depth knowledge of COMAR and CMS guidelines
- Familiarity with Office of Health Care Quality standards
- Proven track record of positive leadership
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to partner effectively with team members
- Talent for coaching and counseling direct reports
- Hands-on experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
