Provide clinical direction for all aspects of patient care in an acute inpatient setting, fostering patient and family-centered care. Conduct nursing assessments, develop individual plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, and validate goals and outcomes with patients and families. Monitor patient status, document progress, and revise care plans based on response to interventions while ensuring compliance with safety protocols, infection control, and regulatory agency requirements. Coordinate care transitions and provide education to patients and families using familiar language. Perform direct patient care, delegate tasks appropriately, and complete assigned performance improvement monitoring and audits. Work night shifts in the Accountable Care Unit at Prisma Health, reporting to a supervisor.
