Job Summary
Perform patient assessments, execute general and critical care respiratory procedures in adult care areas, conduct blood gas analysis, and manage all respiratory equipment. Provide patient education on care protocols. Maintain current RRT licensure and Georgia state board certification upon hire, including BCLS and ACLS, with PALS certification required within 60 days. This role supports the respiratory services team at Piedmont Fayette Hospital, focusing on adult critical care delivery and equipment maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
