Job Summary
Provide respiratory care to neonatal patients in the NICU/PICU setting; monitor and assess respiratory status and adjust treatments accordingly; operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment; collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans; document patient progress and treatment accurately and timely; educate families on respiratory care and equipment usage; ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols; 12-week contract in Indianapolis; must hold Active Indiana RRT license, 2 years of related experience, and recent pediatric/children's hospital experience; BLS and required medical compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in Indiana
- 2 years of recent related experience
- Experience at a children's hospital within the last 5 years
- BLS certification
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Airway management, Medication administration, Vent management, ABGs, O2 Therapy, Suction, Pulmonary toileting, Nebulizer, BiPAP, CPAP
