Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment for patients with breathing disorders in an ICU environment. Manage ventilators including PB 900 systems and participate in ongoing training for bedside bronchoscopy and intubation. Work 12-hour day shifts (6:00 AM–6:00 PM) with a 36-hour weekly guarantee, with flexibility for night rotations when needed. Earn a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Utilize Meditech electronic medical records.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
- Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
- BLS certification
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in ICU ventilator management and post-operative ventilator care
- Experience with PB 980 ventilators
- Comfortable and confident working in an ICU environment
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and skill development, including bedside bronchoscopy and intubation training as offered by the facility
- Open to relocation candidates
- Strong ventilator management skills
- Experience or willingness to train in intubation, arterial line placement, and bedside bronchoscopy
- Ability to function intentionally, reliably, and as a team-oriented clinician
