Job Summary
Registered Respiratory Therapist to support the Pulmonary department on nights. Role involves assisting physicians with bronchoscopy procedures, initiating ventilator protocols, coordinating ventilator management, and performing advanced airway care including tracheotomy_changes, extubation, and intubation. NICU responsibilities include surfactant delivery and high-risk deliveries. Compensation includes night and weekend differentials, sign-on and relocation bonuses, education/certification reimbursement, and career ladder opportunities. EPIC electronic charting system is utilized; program supports ongoing growth and certification. Educational requirements include an Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy and NM licensure with NBRC credentials; BLS required, ACLS/PALS preferred. Programs emphasize well-being, safety, and professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Reg Resp Therapist ( NBRC )
- Respiratory Care Practitioner-NM
- BLS
- ACLS and/or PALS
- Six months to one-year of critical care experience preferred.
