Registered Respiratory Therapist-PRN Nights

Provide direct patient care activities related to respiratory care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation within the guidelines of the hospital and department. Independently apply advanced clinical respiratory expertise and support as a resource to the patient care team; ensure patient safety and compliance with quality and regulatory requirements. Communicate effectively with the healthcare team; educate patients, families, students, new employees and team members on respiratory therapies and procedures; manage multiple duties with time management. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures per standards; utilize advanced clinical skills to support ECMO, mechanical ventilation, bronchoscopy, sleep lab, labor and delivery, cardiopulmonary and circulatory rehabilitation, and BLS as needed.
