Job Summary
Provide routine and advanced respiratory care responsibilities, manage ventilators, assist with bronchoscopy procedures, initiate ventilator protocols and high-frequency ventilation, perform advanced airway care (including tracheotomy changes, extubation, intubation), and support NICU duties such as surfactant delivery and high-risk deliveries. Requires an Associate-level degree or diploma in Respiratory Care, NM licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner, NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist credential, and BLS/ACLS/PALS. Shift: 12 Hour Nights, Part-time (FTE 0.60). Location: Albuquerque, NM. Benefits include tuition/certification reimbursement, loan forgiveness options, malpractice insurance, and access to EPIC EMR.
Required Qualifications
- ASSOCIATE
- Two to three years college level courses/Associates Degree/Diploma in Respiratory Care
- New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License
- Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the NBRC
- ACLS and/or PALS, BLS required
- Six months to one year critical care experience preferred
