Registered Respiratory Therapist-PresNow-ABQ

Provide routine and advanced respiratory care responsibilities, manage ventilators, implement cardiorespiratory protocols, and perform advanced airway care. Assist physicians with bronchoscopy procedures including monitoring and assessment of consciousness, cardiovascular and pulmonary systems, and delivery of IV conscious sedation agents. Initiate ventilator protocols; coordinate ventilator management; perform advanced airway care including tracheotomy changes, extubation, and intubation; initiate and monitor high-frequency ventilators; NICU duties include surfactant delivery, intubation, and attendance at high-risk deliveries; optional procedures include transport team, intubation, and back-up charge therapist; initiate and monitor Nitric Oxide delivery; perform department-specific functions as per duties; other duties as assigned.
