Job Summary
Provide routine and advanced respiratory care responsibilities, manage ventilators, implement cardiorespiratory protocols, and perform advanced airway care including bronchoscopy support; initiates ventilator protocols and monitors high frequency ventilators; NICU duties may include surfactant delivery, intubation, and attend high risk deliveries; assists physicians with bronchoscopy procedures and administers IV conscious sedation; initiates and monitors nitric oxide delivery; performs department-specific duties and uses EPIC charting; includes options for transport team, back-up charge therapist; night shifts with 12-hour nights; part-time 0.60 FTE; benefits include tuition/certification reimbursement, loan forgiveness, malpractice insurance, and wellness programs; Presbyterian Healthcare Services across New Mexico; 있다
Required Qualifications
- ASSOCIATE degree or diploma in Respiratory Care
- New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License
- Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the NBRC
- ACLS and/or PALS and BLS required
- Six months to one year of critical care experience preferred
