Registered Respiratory Therapist-PresNow-ABQ

Provide routine and advanced respiratory care responsibilities, manage ventilators, implement cardiorespiratory protocols, and perform advanced airway care. All Certified Respiratory Therapist responsibilities; assist physicians with bronchoscopy procedures including monitoring and assessment of consciousness, cardiovascular and pulmonary systems, and delivery of IV conscious sedation as needed; initiate ventilator protocols and monitoring; perform advanced airway care including tracheotomy changes, extubation, and intubation; initiate and monitor high-frequency ventilators; NICU duties include surfactant delivery, intubation, and attendance at high-risk deliveries; optional duties include transport, additional intubation, and back-up charge therapist; nitric oxide delivery; and other department-specific duties as assigned.
