Job Summary
Provide routine and advanced respiratory care, manage ventilators, assist with bronchoscopy procedures, and perform advanced airway care. Initiates ventilator protocols and coordinates ventilator management; performs high-frequency ventilator support; NICU duties include surfactant delivery and intubation; may participate in transport and nitric oxide delivery; optional roles include back-up charge therapist. Requires Associate degree or Diploma in Respiratory Care, NM Respiratory Care Practitioner License, NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist credential, and ACLS/PALS/BLS. Work includes 12-hour night shifts in a part-time, 0.60 FTE capacity within Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, NM.
Required Qualifications
- ASSOCIATES_DEGREE/Diploma in Respiratory Care
- New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License
- Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from NBRC
- ACLS and/or PALS, BLS
