Job Summary
Provide routine and advanced respiratory care; manage ventilators; implement cardiorespiratory protocols; perform advanced airway care; assist physicians with bronchoscopy procedures including monitoring and sedation; initiate and monitor ventilator protocols; perform tracheostomy changes, extubation, and intubation; operate high frequency ventilators; NICU duties include surfactant delivery and high-risk deliveries; optional transport/back-up charge therapist; initiate and monitor Nitric Oxide delivery; EPIC charting; department-specific duties; growth opportunities include tuition/certification reimbursement and loan forgiveness; 12 Hour Nights part-time role.
Required Qualifications
- ASSOCIATE
- Two to three years college level courses/Associates Degree/Diploma in Respiratory Care
- New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License
- Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the NBRC
- ACLS and/or PALS , BLS required
- Six months to one year critical care experience preferred
