Job Summary
Perform patient assessments, execute general respiratory care protocols and critical care procedures in adult care areas, conduct blood gas analysis, maintain and manage all equipment, and provide patient education. Hold an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences, RRT licensure, and state board certification upon hire. Complete BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, with the latter required within 60 days. This role supports adult care areas at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
