Job Summary
Provide routine and advanced respiratory care for infant, pediatric, and adult patients, including intubation/extubation, high flow oxygen, BPAP/CPAP, and ventilator care. Perform electrocardiograms across departments, implement cardiopulmonary modalities, and support pulmonary function testing and related cardiac monitoring as needed. Role involves varied shifts as PRN, with opportunities for education/certification reimbursement and eligibility for lead roles; benefits include malpractice liability coverage and loan forgiveness programs. Proficiency with EPIC charting and compliance with department protocols are required.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Associates required; Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Current New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License, Registered Respiratory Therapist
- New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License, Registered Respiratory Therapist
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP are required.
