Job Summary
Provide routine and advanced respiratory care for infant, pediatric and adult patients. Includes advanced airway care with intubation and extubation, and tracheotomy care. Proficient with High Flow (infant, pediatric and adult), BPAP/CPAP, ventilators, and Bubble CPAP. Perform electrocardiograms across departments (ED, L&D, nursery, ICU, MedSurg, PMG). Implement cardiopulmonary modalities for all ages. Optional duties may include Pulmonary Function Testing, Holter monitor placement and cardiac stress testing. PRN opportunity with varied shifts; benefits include tuition/certification reimbursement, malpractice liability insurance, loan forgiveness programs, and EPIC charting system. Eligibility for night/weekend differentials and lead roles. Employment details indicate FTE 0.00 and non-exempt status.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Associates required
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Current New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License, Registered Respiratory Therapist
- New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License, Registered Respiratory Therapist
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP are required.
