Job Summary
Provide routine and advanced respiratory care for infant, pediatric and adult patients, including advanced airway management (intubation, extubation, tracheotomy care) and proficiency with High Flow therapy, BPAP/CPAP, ventilators; perform electrocardiograms across departments (ED, L&D, nursery, ICU, MedSurg, PMG); implement cardiopulmonary modalities for all ages; may perform Pulmonary Function Testing, Holter monitor placement, and cardiac stress testing; duties may include department-specific tasks in Pulmonary; benefits include tuition/certification reimbursement, scholarship opportunities, malpractice insurance, loan forgiveness, and EPIC electronic charting; position is PRN with varied days and hours; requires Associate’s degree and NM RCP license/registration plus BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Associates required
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Current New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License, Registered Respiratory Therapist
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP are required.
