Job Summary
Registered Respiratory Therapist for Part-Time Days at Texas Health Mansfield. Responsibilities include documenting procedures accurately, collaborating for patient flow, interpreting evaluations and test results to determine treatment plans with the interdisciplinary team, responding to Code Blue emergencies with CPR per AHA guidelines, administering respiratory and oxygen therapies, analyzing arterial blood gases and co-oximetry, maintaining airway management, and initiating/managing mechanical ventilation per department protocols. Requires Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science, Texas RCP license, NBRC RRT, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification, with 1+ year critical care experience preferred. Shift: Days; 12-hour shifts. Location: Mansfield, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science
- Texas Medical Board Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ACLS
- PALS
- Knowlege of arterial blood gases and co-oximetry
- Experience in critical care setting (1+ years preferred)
- Ability to interpret evaluations and test results and collaborate with multidisciplinary team
- 12 hour shifts
