Job Summary
Register Respiratory Therapist position requiring licensure and CRT eligibility, with night shift duties in a hospital setting. Responsibilities include delivering respiratory care under physician direction, managing critical care procedures, performing blood gas analyses, and using computerized equipment. Must possess a degree from an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy program, hold or be eligible for state licensure (LRCP), and be CPR-certified by the American Heart Association. Preferred qualifications include additional college/associate degree, and experience in a hospital environment with certifications such as NRP, PALS, and ACLS. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved AMA school for Respiratory Therapy
- Current temporary or permanent license (LRCP) from the applicable State of practice
- Working knowledge of all Respiratory Care procedures and modalities including Critical Care and Blood Gas analysis
- Eligibility to take or pass NBRC Certification (CRT)
- Certified by the American Heart Association to provide CPR
