Job Summary
Registered Respiratory Therapist needed for night shift at Mercy. Responsibilities include delivering respiratory care per physician direction, including critical care and blood gas analysis, utilizing computerized health-care systems, and maintaining CPR certification. Requires AMA-approved RT education, state licensure (LRCP), NBRC CRT eligibility or certification, and AHA CPR certification; prefers additional college/associate degree and hospital experience; advanced computer skills and familiarity with patient-care applications are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved AMA school for Respiratory Therapy
- Current temporary or permanent license (LRCP) from the applicable State of practice
- Working knowledge of Respiratory Care procedures and modalities including Critical Care and Blood Gas analysis
- Eligible to take or has passed NBRC CRT exam
- Certified by American Heart Association to provide CPR
