Registered Respiratory Therapist -Nights (3) 12 hour shifts

Provides direct patient care activities related to respiratory therapy including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation within hospital and department guidelines. Applies advanced clinical respiratory knowledge and serves as a resource to the care team. Ensures patient safety and quality compliance. Performs diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures and may support ECMO, mechanical ventilation, bronchoscopies, sleep lab, and related cardiopulmonary duties. Communicates effectively with the healthcare team, educates patients and families, and participates in continuous learning. Requires an Associate/CoARC-accredited respiratory therapy program and licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner with RRT credential. Works full-time nights (6:30pm–7:00am) with rotating weekends/holidays at Alton Memorial Hospital (Alton, IL). Sign-on bonus of $10,000; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
