Job Summary
As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will provide respiratory care treatment and support services in the NICU. Responsibilities include monitoring and weaning oxygen therapy, drawing and analyzing arterial blood gases, and delivering patient education on procedures. A requirement of the role includes obtaining ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Current License as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice
- Certification by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 90 days of hire
