Job Summary
Perform patient assessments, conduct general and critical care respiratory procedures, and manage respiratory care for newborns in Labor and Delivery. Execute blood gas analysis and interpretation, maintain equipment, and provide patient and family education across adult and neonatal areas. Requires an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences, RRT licensure, and certifications including BCLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS. Full-time 36-hour night shift at Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville, GA.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- Previous Working Experience in Neonatal Respiratory care
- RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care and licensed by the State Board of Medical Examiners
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- Successful completion of department specific orientation including skills validation of competencies for the duties and responsibilities of this level
