Job Summary
Provide respiratory care for neonatal and pediatric patients in the NICU; assist in high-risk deliveries and neonatal transports; perform airway management, suctioning, intubation assist, and ventilator management; administer medications including inhaled therapies and perform pulmonary hygiene; interpret arterial blood gases and assist with high-frequency ventilators and CPAP/BiPAP; collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support patient care; maintain a safe environment and respond to respiratory emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of acute care/trauma experience
- Previous NICU experience required
- Experience in critical care and acute care hospital settings
- Ability to work in a Level 1 trauma center with high acuity patients
- Active RRT MA license
- BLS
- NRP (preferred)
