Job Summary
Conduct therapeutic and diagnostic procedures including ABG, PFTs, ventilator support, and airway maintenance for adults and neonates under indirect supervision. Perform cardiopulmonary diagnostics, prepare treatment evaluations, and operate respiratory equipment while adhering to infection control and quality assurance protocols. Work 12-hour shifts from 7am to 7pm, three times weekly, with a 12X3 night rotation at Methodist Dallas Medical Center. Requires current Texas licensure, BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification
- NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- Currently licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas Medical Board
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- At least 6 months respiratory care experience
