Job Summary
Provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders; consult physicians on the effectiveness of therapy; act as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care; perform duties as assigned. Requires graduation from a CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program and NBRC-credentialed RRT with state licensure; ACLS preferred and PALS required for ER; physical demands include lifting and moving up to 50 lbs, with related kneeling and crawling as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
- current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC.
