Job Summary
PRN Registered Respiratory Therapist II providing diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care across emergency, critical care, and acute settings. Delivers oxygen support, aerosolized medications, airway clearance techniques, and other treatments; manages artificial airways and ventilation; educates patients and families; collaborates with physicians and nurses; supports newborn stabilization when needed; maintains equipment and adheres to infection-prevention standards. Requires BLS within 30 days of start date and a valid RT credential (state registered, licensed, associate degree, or vocational-technical graduate) per location. Emphasizes mentorship from RT leadership, teamwork, and ongoing professional growth with a stable scheduling structure.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- State Registered Respiratory Therapist, or Licensed Respiratory Therapist, or Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate
