Job Summary
Registered Respiratory Therapist II delivers respiratory care in critical care with ventilator management, ABG analysis, and patient education. Responsibilities include patient assessment, therapy planning, aerosolized medication administration, airway management, staff precepting, and participation in education of new employees and students. Location: Powder Springs, GA. Shift: Night. Licensing and certifications required upon hire: NBRC-RRT, RCP, BLS, ACLS. Requires an associate or bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy and 0-2 years of clinical experience with critical care exposure.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Respiratory Therapy or Bachelors Respiratory Therapy-Preferred
- NBRC-RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist
- RCP - Respiratory Care Prof
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ARC-ALS
- 0-2 yrs clinical experience with minimal 6-months critical care
- Good communication and critical thinking skills
- Computer skills and familiarity with databases
