Registered Respiratory Therapist I, Atrium Health Cleveland, FT Nights

Performs all aspects of direct respiratory care according to physician's orders and approved protocols; consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy and makes appropriate recommendations; provides ventilator support and monitors cardiopulmonary life support equipment; maintains respiratory care equipment; demonstrates knowledge of oxygen delivery modes and corresponding equipment; conducts prescribed therapeutic procedures to achieve adequate oxygenation; initiates, monitors and manages mechanical and non-invasive ventilators; evaluates therapies and makes care-plans recommendations; documents therapy results; communicates with the healthcare team; may perform diagnostic procedures and blood sampling analysis; works independently across patient-care areas and utilizes electronic medical records; adheres to departmental safety and completes regulatory requirements; requires physical ability to perform duties including lifting 20-50 pounds and moving patients; ACA/Aduction of care expectations and annual proficiency evaluations are noted; full-time night schedule with sign-on bonus eligibility.
