Registered Respiratory Therapist

Assess respiratory status through focused exams and interpret breath sounds to determine intervention needs. Deliver evidence-based therapy including oxygen support, aerosolized medications, and airway clearance across emergency, critical care, and acute settings. Manage ventilation and airways by assisting with artificial airway placement, adjusting invasive and noninvasive ventilation, and responding to clinical changes. Support patients and the care team by educating families, partnering with physicians, and stabilizing newborns during deliveries. Maintain equipment and safety by operating respiratory devices, ensuring preventive maintenance, transporting ventilated patients, and following infection-prevention standards.
