Job Summary
Performs direct patient care in respiratory therapy per physician orders; collaborates with physicians and nursing staff on effectiveness of respiratory care; supports advanced resource needs for respiratory care; shift reflects overnight hours (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) at Mercy Hospital St. Louis with a sign-on bonus up to $10,000; requires graduation from a CoARC-approved program, NBRC-backed RRT credential, and active RCP licensure; ACLS preferred and PALS required for ER staff; benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, tuition support, and retirement plans; no prior experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program
- Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license with state licensure requirements
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by NBRC
- PALS required for staff working in Emergency Room (ER)
- ACLS preferred
- Physically able to perform duties (push, pull, grip up to 50 lbs; kneel, crouch, crawl)
