Registered Respiratory Therapist, Full-Time/Overnight

Job Summary
Direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders; consults physicians on the effectiveness of therapy; serves as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff on respiratory care; performs duties as assigned; shift is overnight (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) at Mercy Hospital St. Louis with a sign-on incentive up to $10,000; requires NBRC RRT credential, state RCP licensure, and CoARC-approved respiratory care program completion; ACLS preferred and PALS for ER; physical demands include lifting and mobility tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of CoARC approved Respiratory Care program
- Licensure: Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license per state requirements
- Certification: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC
- Experience: None
- PALS required for co-workers in Emergency Room
- ACLS preferred
- Physical demands: push/pull/grip up to 50 lbs, kneel/crouch/crawl
- Shift: 7:00 PM-7:00 AM
- Sign-On bonus up to $10,000
