Job Summary
Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care according to physician's orders. Consult physicians on therapy effectiveness and act as an advanced resource for nursing on respiratory issues. Execute assigned duties including the use of all appropriate respiratory care devices. Shift runs 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. A sign-on-bonus incentive of up to $10,000 is included.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program
- Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- PALS required for co-workers who work in the Emergency Room
- Physical demands: push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs
- Physical demands: pinch up to 10 lbs
- Physical demands: kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally
- Shift: 7:00 PM- 7:00 AM
Desired Qualifications
- Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Critical care experience
