Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist role on the night shift at Methodist Celina Medical Center, performing evidence-based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing per physician orders and protocols. Requires BLS and ACLS now, NRP/PALS within 1 year of hire, Texas license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner, and NBRC registration, with at least 6 months of respiratory care experience. Responsibilities include clear communication, collaboration with multidisciplinary team, accountability for performance, continuous improvement of the patient experience, and ongoing professional growth. Location features a 40+ acre campus with hospital services and future expansion; shift is 7pm–7am on a rotating 3-day schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification
- NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support — must obtain within 1 year of hire
- Currently licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas Medical Board
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- At least 6 months respiratory care experience.
