Job Summary
Provide comprehensive respiratory care across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations by performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, managing mechanical ventilators, and supporting ECMO and sleep lab services. Communicate effectively through documentation and handoffs, educate patients and families on treatments, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and quality improvement. Work full-time nights from 6:30pm to 7:00am with rotating weekends and holidays. This role requires an RRT or CRT with five years of experience, offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus and tuition assistance at Alton Memorial Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
- 5 years of experience
- Assoc or CoARC Accredited Prog - Respiratory Therapy
- Basic Cardiovascular Life Sup
- Respiratory Care Practitioner
