Registered Respiratory Therapist Full Time Night

Job Summary
Conduct therapeutic and diagnostic procedures including ABG, PFTs, ventilator support, and airway maintenance for adults and neonates under indirect supervision. Perform cardiopulmonary diagnostics, assemble and troubleshoot respiratory equipment, and prepare treatment evaluations through bedside assessments and patient interviews. Interpret CXR, ABG, and PFT data while utilizing critical thinking skills to manage patient care. Support infection control, safety, and quality assurance protocols, and maintain all cardiopulmonary equipment and work areas. Work a rotating 12X3 night shift (Monday through Friday) at Methodist Midlothian Medical Center, a 46-bed acute care facility serving Midlothian and northern Ellis County.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification
- NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification (must obtain within 1 year of hire)
- Currently licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas Medical Board
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- At least 6 months respiratory care experience
