Registered Respiratory Therapist- Full Time Days

Provides direct patient care activities related to respiratory therapy including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation within the guidelines of the hospital and department. Demonstrates advanced clinical respiratory expertise and serves as a resource to others as part of the patient care team. Ensures patient safety by delivering care in an age-appropriate manner while complying with quality and regulatory requirements. Communicates effectively with the healthcare team, participates in handoffs, and provides education and training about respiratory therapies to patients, families, students, new employees, and staff. Applies respiratory knowledge and clinical skills for procedures such as ECMO support, mechanical ventilation, bronchoscopies, sleep lab, and related areas, and supports related duties as needed. Maintains accountability for continuous learning, prioritizes tasks, and collaborates to deliver high-quality patient care.
