Job Summary
Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy according to physician orders. Consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness and act as an advanced resource for medical staff on respiratory care issues. Execute assigned duties utilizing appropriate respiratory care devices while adhering to physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs. Maintain current Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure and hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist credential. Full-time 36-hour schedule with comprehensive health, vision, and dental coverage starting day one.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program
- Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Physical demands: push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs
- Physical demands: pinch up to 10 lbs
- Physical demands: kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally
- Use of all appropriate respiratory care devices
- PALS required for co-workers who work in the Emergency Room
Desired Qualifications
- Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Prefer critical care experience
