Registered Respiratory Therapist, Full-Time (36 Hours)

Job Summary
Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care according to physician's orders, consulting on therapy effectiveness and acting as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing. Execute assigned duties using appropriate respiratory care devices while meeting state licensure and RRT credential requirements. Work the 7 pm to 7 am shift with a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and shift differential eligibility. Maintain physical readiness for tasks involving push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program
- Meets state licensure requirements
- Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- PALS certification required for co-workers who work in the Emergency Room
- Ability to push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs
- Ability to pinch up to 10 lbs
- Ability to kneel, crouch, and crawl
Desired Qualifications
- Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Critical care experience
