Job Summary
Direct patient care in respiratory therapy per physician orders; consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy; acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care; performs duties as assigned. Requires NBRC-approved RRT credential, current RCP licensure, and graduation from a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program. ACLS preferred; PALS required for ER assignments. Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program
- Licensure: Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Certification: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Experience: None
- Note: PALS required for coworkers in the Emergency Room (ER)
- Preferred Education: ACLS
- Preferred Experience: Prefer critical care experience
