Job Summary
Deliver respiratory therapy treatments and interventions as ordered by physicians while monitoring patient response and consulting with providers regarding treatment effectiveness. Operate and maintain respiratory care equipment, serving as a clinical resource for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support high-quality patient outcomes through evidence-based care. Participate in patient-centered, multidisciplinary care teams across a wide range of patient populations. Work full-time evening and night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM on a rotating schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Care Program
- Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License meeting state requirements
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Ability to safely push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs
- Ability to kneel, crouch, and crawl as required
- Proficiency with respiratory care equipment and devices
- PALS certification required for Emergency Department assignments
