Job Summary
Evaluate and administer therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care and life support to patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders. Consult with physicians concerning the development and modification of patient care plans. This role operates on a flexi/PRN schedule at a flat rate of $31.00/hr. Candidates must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with current licensure in Alabama, plus BLS certification. Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School of Respiratory Therapy
- Currently registered as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Licensed Respiratory Therapist (LRT) with the Alabama State Board of Respiratory Therapy (ASBRT)
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- ACLS certification and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association (AHA)
